Funeral services will be held in Farina, Illinois on December 10, 2022 at the Farina United Methodist Church. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Hanks of Iva, South Carolina, born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on March 1, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Anderson; her brother Bruce (Donna) Baxter of Aylett, Virginia; brother-in-law Troy (Lizbeth) Thomas of Sussex, Wisconsin; her nephews Brent (Valory) Isaacson, Todd (Brooke) Isaacson, Daniel Baxter, and Joseph (Elizabeth) Baxter; her brother-in-law Bruce (Carol) Isaacson; her step-children Alycia (James) Lacki and Jason (Alyssa) Anderson; and step-grandchildren Kailee and Caden whom she loved much; all of the Stan and Noreen Anderson family of Sinclairville and dear friend John Heeden.
